How I became friends with my high school bully

This story is as irrational as it sounds.

When I was about 12 or 13 years old, my mind can’t remember, I had the worst school year of my life. I think it was also the first time I realized that life isn’t perfect and beautiful all the time, I guess all the schemas of what I thought growing up meant were rapidly shattered.
